THE TRAGICAL HISTORY TOUR
Our flagship tour that the NY Daily News called “A Trip Down Bad Memory Lane”. We take you to the homes and locations through Los Angeles and the Sunset Strip where your favorite celebrities lived and died. From the restaurant where Sharon Tate had her “Last Supper” to the The Viper Room River Phoenix and hear the 911 call. We cover Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, John Belushi, as well as Bela Lugosi and The Black Dahlia. Also included are Rebecca Schaeffer and Dominique Dunne. We also hit the Scandals like Chris Brown and Rihanna, Hugh Grant and Halle Berry. You’ll also learn about forgotten stars whose demise is nothing less than spectacular – That’s the Tragical History bit. Now we’ve added a stop at Westwood Memorial Park to visit Marilyn, Hef, Farrah, Truman, Natalie and more. Get within 6 feet of your favorites!
Warning: Due to the graphic nature of some crime scene photos and descriptions this tour is not recommended for children under 12. Parental discretion is advised!
Lonely Planet calls it
“Creepy, Hilarious, but not
for the kids or the prissy!”
had the pleasure of being on Richard’s Tragical History Tour! What a fantastic experience! Richard was so knowledgeable & an absolute joy to ride with! I have wanted to go on a tour for years now & finally got the chance & let me just say, it did NOT disappoint! Absolutely worth every penny! Go early, see the museum (also amazing) & then walk over to Hollywood Forever Cemetery after your tour! Byeag86 - TripAdvisor
The tour was so great! If you’re a murderino, true crime fanatic and LA native, this is the tour for you!Skylar P - TripAdvisor
I went on Dearly Departed’s Tragical History tour today. It was great fun! Richard, our guide, was very knowledgeable and personable. The tour was interactive and chock full of trivia and sites of Hollywood history and mayhem. The tour includes a visit to a celebrity cemetery. The museum is lots of fun too. I plan to do another tour the next time I’m in LA. I highly recommend it!Cindy W. - TripAdvisor
Museum was a MUST SEE, absolutely festooned with outrageous memorabilia! You can imagine the Jayne Mansfield death car, but nothing prepares you for seeing it up close and personal. The Tragical History Tour was exciting, grim fun. Tour guide was knowledgeable and witty! Bring a sense of humor.Erin P. - TripAdvisor
