Vicky Hamilton is a rock legend. She is noted for managing the early careers of Guns N’ Roses, Poison and Faster Pussycat, as well as working as a management consultant for Mötley Crüe and Stryper and her work with June Carter Cash and Johnny Cash.
Vicky’s Bio: Grammy award-winning music industry executive, personal manager and writer. Vicky has been featured in VH-1’s “Behind the Music” and “Driven,” The BBC, The Biography Channel and documentaries. One of the most successful female music executives in the industry Vicky has discovered and developed the careers of Guns N’ Roses, Motley Crue, Poison, Faster Pussycat and many others. Vicky’s over 30 years in the music industry, found her leading the charge as the first time manager of Guns N’ Roses, Poison, Faster Pussycat when others would not take on upcoming bands. Vicky has partnered with top music executives including; label heads, managers, agents, producers, top social marketing executives and promoters. Relentless in her pursuit of success for the artists she works with, Vicky won’t back down or take no as the answer, when she believes she always perseveres.
Sales figures of the acts Vicky has developed and managed are over two hundred and fifty MILLION cumulatively; very few industry players can say this. In addition, Vicky also has worked as an A&R executive at Geffen, Capitol and Vapor Records and owned a successful independent record label, which won a Grammy for June Carter Cash. Currently, Vicky is finishing a worldwide book tour for her memoir, Appetite For Dysfunction; managing and consulting several music acts while developing a TV series and documentary and starting a new record label.
